The Maryland Hispanic Gala is a 100% volunteer-run event. We bring together stakeholders and organizations that are committed to assist youth achieve a high level of education while building strong, diverse and united communities throughout the State of Maryland.

We are focused on our backyard. We are all about higher education and we document our work meticulously so that we are accountable to our investors, partners, key stakeholders, and the community. Our annual financial statements are open to the public.

The Hispanic Gala Organizing Committee is committed to developing highly educated young professionals while providing critical financial assistance that will increase graduation rates from higher learning institutions. This one-time scholarship opportunity is available to all qualifying students from diverse communities.

The Hispanic Gala is the most significant and marquee social, political, and philanthropic event of its kind in the State. We bring together elected officials, the business community, philanthropists, and the Hispanic community to support and promote post-secondary education in our community.

We gather over 1,000 attendees on event evening annually.


The Maryland Hispanic Gala kicks off National Hispanic Heritage Month, which is observed from September 15 to October 15
to recognize the contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans to the United States and celebrate Hispanic heritage and culture.
